Stratcom Summit 2026 Kicks Off in Istanbul

(MENAFN) The International Strategic Communication Summit (Stratcom Summit) 2026 began Friday in Istanbul, convening senior officials from 38 countries to discuss the ongoing Middle East conflict and wider challenges to the international system, according to reports.

Hosted by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate, the two-day summit running March 27–28 includes participation from Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and National Intelligence Organization Director Ibrahim Kalin.

Over 60 senior officials, including eleven ministers from ten countries, are attending the event.

The summit, held under the theme “Disruption in the International System: Crises, Narratives, and the Search for Order,” will focus on structural disruptions in the global system, the crises they trigger, and regional strategies aimed at restoring stability in the international order.
